Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor aren’t just the stars of Disney+’s “Obi-Wan Kenobi” — they’re close friends with a 20-plus year bond that’s been shaped by one of the greatest franchises in cinema history. While the weight of all those expectations must weigh heavy on their shoulders, these two know how to keep it light. When we sat down with Christensen, he revealed that McGregor is “a very funny guy” who “keeps [him] Laughing” – a far cry from the bitter rivalry between their iconic characters on screen.
Christensen also opened up about whether or not McGregor says “Hello, there” as a greeting in real life (we ask the tough questions), his favorite aspects of the Darth Vader suit, memorable fan interactions, and many other topics about returning to the character after more than two decades.
