In a very exciting announcement post for the reality TV vet, todd chrisley‘s daughter wrote:
“I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments when I really wondered if this life would ever be mine.
The past few years have put me through fire that I never imagined I would have to go through. A season of heartbreak, loss, and moments when I didn’t know if I would ever make it to the other side. I wondered if I would ever find my eternal life… if I would ever feel safe enough to breathe again.
And then God sent me Jay.
Right in the middle of a heartbreak. Before all the pieces are put back together. And somehow, he started to fix the parts of me that he never knew were broken.
my Savior. My most fierce warrior. My most loyal person. My lover. My safe place. A man with the patience of Job (and lord knows he needs it). The one who makes me laugh even on my darkest days.
For the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I feel complete. I can finally exhale. I found my everything in you.
And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us the sweetest blessing ever…we are having a baby boy!
Jay, seeing the way you love and protect our baby even before he or she enters this world has made me fall in love with you in a whole new way. Not a single doctor’s appointment was missed. Constantly taking care of me, talking about our baby, and reminding me how beautiful my growing bump is. I thank God every day that this child calls you daddy.And for the woman who is still in her season of waiting… wondering when her turn will finally come, wondering if God has forgotten her…
Please do not mistake God’s silence for his absence.Sometimes He is writing the most beautiful chapters of your story while you are still trying to understand the chapters that broke your heart.
I once prayed to make it through another day. Now I will spend forever with the love of my life carrying a little miracle that we already love more than words can express.
From heartbreak to healing. From surviving to living. From praying for me forever to building a family with him.
