Laura Gallacher On October 28, took the stand as a character witness in London to defend Brand amid her r— and sexual harassment allegations.
During her testimony, Gallacher, who married Brand in 2017, said he is a “wonderful husband” and a “wonderful father” to their three children.
‘I feel very watched’

Brand was charged in May 2024 with three counts of r—, three counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted indecent assault for crimes that allegedly occurred between 1999 and 2009. The six female plaintiffs will remain anonymous.

He alleged in court on Wednesday that no one with relevant information regarding the allegations leveled against him has agreed to testify on his behalf. He has repeatedly denied all claims of r— and sexual harassment.
“My entire life has been ruined by these allegations,” Brand said. “I have dedicated myself to these matters.”
He reiterated his innocence in court this week, although he acknowledged that some of his past behavior was “wrong in retrospect.”
He told the court, “As I became more successful and famous, I became very comfortable allowing myself to facilitate sexual access, which I agree was wrong.” “I admit that I have been a very determined and focused person… when it comes to women – of course, who is my subject of testing.”
He continued, “I have been inspiring, charming, begging, and flirting, and I have devoted much of my life to things that now seem reckless, pretentious, and beyond stupid.”
Jury deliberations have begun. The verdict is expected to be announced as soon as Tuesday, November 2.
