‘Meghan, however, is now out of controversy. A meeting took place but it was decided that she would not be a part of the cast. Sun.
The Daily Mail has contacted Robert’s representatives and Netflix for comment.
When Theo was asked about the Sussex rumours, he joked, ‘No. Prince Harry is playing one of my girlfriends. So this is the Meghan Markle thing.
Later he said, ‘I think this is a fake rumor. She would fit in well as she is actually from the royal family, but I think the practicality of it is impossible.’
Fellow Londoner Ray Winstone said: ‘This is the first I’ve heard of it,’ but also said it would be a ‘better looking’ pair than them.
And Hugh Bonneville was equally dismissive of it, calling it ‘a genius piece of marketing by the guy who dreamed up the idea’. And new star Maya said: ‘I’ll be the last person to know.’
Lead actor Theo has previously spoken about Robert and said that he would like him to appear on the show.
He said, ‘As far as people I’d like to see on the show, I’d want some sociopath like an old-time Robbie Carlyle.’
Maya Jama, who made her scripted acting debut in the second series, is also said to be returning for season three.

The latest series sees James’ character Eddie take over the Glass family empire as he bids to resume full control over their assets.
At the beginning of the trailer, he says: ‘400 years ago, this estate stretched as far as the eye could see,’ taking in sweeping views of its expansive grounds. ‘I want it all back.’
However, the path to complete dominance is never easy, especially when the opponent is drug baron Bobby.
Bobby is aware of Eddie and Susie’s ambitions to expand their criminal empire, as he tells them that he knows they are hoping he can support their efforts to ‘decriminalize marijuana’.
