rebel wilson act of netflix “Senior Year” depicts a teenager who falls into a coma and wakes up as an adult who is ready to achieve all the milestones of high school. Naturally, we had to delve into Wilson’s time at her secondary school, Australia’s Tara Anglican School for Girls. While they had many great experiences, they discussed not only the uniforms and dorm policy (hats out? Must eat dessert with a fork and spoon?!) but also how, like many teens, they felt they should have been more confident – and proud of it!
Wilson wasn’t afraid to admit that she, like many of us, was learning many current topics like mental-health coping skills and financial literacy “from podcasts.” His ideas about incorporating those subjects into future high school curriculum are certainly something that has been talked about for years.
One American high school tradition Wilson wishes she had in Australia? shout for joy! Please enjoy this GIF of Wilson that proves she can make faces as good as any high school cheerleader:
We already feel excited for the big game! Watch all the inspiring words and hilarity in the full video above (including why Wilson wants to star in a kung fu movie), and be sure to watch “Senior Year,” streaming now on Netflix.
