Prince Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas’ fashion mistake at Chelsea Flower Show caught on camera

As the weather gets warmer, Chelsea Flower Show guests are starting to revive their summer wardrobes, including Cressida Bonas.

Dressing up for the sunshine, the 37-year-old actress and model visited the Lady Garden Foundation’s Silent No More garden on May 20, where she suffered an unfortunate fashion faux pas in Penelope Chilvers’ candy pink co-ord.

She paired the brand’s ‘Loxley’ skirt, which features a striped print and ruffled midi skirt, with a matching ‘Evenley’ blouse, which is reversible due to its adjustable bow. Opting for a casual look, Cressida left the blouse loose for a boxy fit and added brown espadrilles and long gold necklaces.

Her long blonde hair was left in loose waves to complete her boho aesthetic. This stunning dress fit the smart-casual Chelsea Flower Show dress code perfectly, so much so that she wasn’t the only person wearing it!

A day earlier, celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna, 51, had adopted the same look, but the style was different. She tucked the puff-sleeve top into the elastic waistband of the smocked skirt, layered beneath a relaxed-fit blue denim jacket for added warmth.

Paired with oversized sunglasses and heavy tan suede platform Penelope Chilvers sandals, her contemporary look is set to be a hit this summer season.

Not only does it sum up her latest look, but it also sums up her cool approach to finding a wedding dress for her lockdown ceremony with Harry Wentworth-Stanley in 2020.

in an essay for audienceThe White House Farm star said she was still on Oxford Street looking for the bridal gown four days before the ceremony.

Cressida said, “Finding nothing, I remembered an old Whistles dress I once wore for a James Arthur music video. I went home and found the dusty frock in the back of my wardrobe. After some ironing, it looked as good as new.” She is believed to be wearing the ‘Guinevere’ design from James Arthur’s 2017 music video for ‘Naked’.
