Paris Jackson shows off her perforated septum, caused by years of drug abuse.
in a clarity tiktok video Shared on Monday, Michael Jackson’s only daughter told her more than 76,000 followers that she “never really addressed” her septal perforation, which is a hole in the cartilage or bone between your nose. According to the Cleveland Clinic.
“I get a really loud whistling sound when I breathe through my nose,” the 27-year-old “American Horror Story” actress revealed.
“And that’s because I have what’s called a perforated septum,” she said before shining her phone’s light up her nose to show the audience the hole.
“It’s umm…what do you think it is. Don’t do drugs, kids. Or, I mean, do. Everyone’s going to have the experience they need with life. I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. But I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life.”
Paris said she doesn’t want to get plastic surgery to fix her nose “because she’s been sober for about six years.”
“When you have such complicated surgeries you have to take pills and I just… I don’t want to bother with that,” she admitted.
“I’ve been living with it since I was about 20 and it becomes a bitch when you’re in the studio.”
The “Lay Down” singer confessed that she could put a spaghetti noodle through her nose and swish it back and forth.
At the end of her video, Paris told her followers she was making a whistling sound while breathing through her nose.
In January, the “Flock” actress celebrated five years of freedom from alcohol and heroin.
“It’s because I’m sober that I got a chance to smile today. I got a chance to make music. I got a chance to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cats,” she wrote in a candid post on Instagram In those days.
“I get to feel heartbreak in all its glory. I get to grieve. I get to laugh. I get to dance. I get to trust. I feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm,” Paris said.
Paris reportedly checked into a treatment facility for her emotional health in 2019.
The model had previously revealed that she had been cutting herself and attempted suicide.
