The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned in style on Sunday, with stars like Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio making their highly anticipated returns to the runway.
But there was one Victoria’s Secret veteran whose absence did not go unnoticed – Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr.
Hours before the show, the mother of four, 43, revealed on Instagram that she had turned down the opportunity to walk this year’s runway.
‘It’s been 20 years since my first Victoria’s Secret show. “Looking back with so much gratitude for the friendships, the magical memories, and all the people who made that chapter of my life so special,” Miranda wrote next to a gallery of old photos documenting her time as a VS Angel.
‘It means a lot to be invited back this year, especially as it marks 20 years since my first show… but ultimately I felt in my heart that it would be right to keep this chapter as it is,’ she added.
‘Sending lots of love and light to everyone at this year’s show!’

Her post was flooded with well-wishing comments from friends, fans and fellow celebrities.
Victoria’s Secret model Elsa Hosk – who was in this year’s show – commented, ‘The way you drove us crazy.’
Sophie Monk said, ‘That smile should be illegal’, while Victoria’s Secret’s official page commented: ‘Always an angel to us.’
Miranda then spent the evening reposting footage from the runway show, before sharing her tribute to the franchise by uploading a video of herself walking around her lounge room in a silk robe and high heels.
She jokingly wrote ahead of the clip, ‘Now I am going to put my children to sleep.’
Miranda was last seen on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week During the Stella McCartney 2027 womenswear show.
This comes after Miranda shared the secrets behind her health regime, revealing the strict diet she follows every day to maintain her supermodel glow.
She shared details of her health habits during an appearance on Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari in August, where she also opened up about raising her teenage son Flynn Bloom.

Miranda said her morning starts with the drink she’s been drinking since she was a teenager.
‘I have been drinking Noni juice since the age of 13. I am 43 years old – [that’s] 30 years! Noni juice is a superfood, superfruit. “It originates from Tahiti, but it can also grow in other parts of the world, such as Australia,” he said.
Miranda said she takes a 30ml pill every morning because it’s packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals – and even gives some to her youngest child.
The brunette then drinks homemade tea made from marshmallow leaf as it is ‘good for the gut lining’.
