Lala Anthony She has some thoughts about celebrities dating outside the entertainment industry, and she says that being with someone who understands the demands of fame can make relationships easier. During an appearance on the October 20 episode the crew has it podcast, the actress explained why dating another celebrity has its perks, though she’s not ruling out finding love with someone who has a regular job.
talking with your ex Power With co-stars Michael Rennie Jr. and Gianni Paolo, Anthony admitted that relationships are complicated enough without adding the unpredictable schedules of Hollywood into it.
“I think there are pros and cons,” he said. “If you date someone in the industry, you feel like, OK, they at least know my lifestyle, how I have to work. I have to be on set at two, three in the morning. I’ll be on set for 16 hours.”

However, dating someone outside of the business can present another set of problems.
“Sometimes the problem is they don’t understand the schedule,” he explained, describing the questions that can arise when an actor works late or spends time with co-stars outside of normal business hours.
Still, Anthony made it clear that he doesn’t need a Hollywood resume to get attention.
“I think it should be about who you connect with,” he said. “I don’t even think that when we talk about anything, I just think we have to be open.”
Eventually the conversation turned to rich celebrities who constantly date other rich people. Anthony said that these relationships are not necessarily based on money. Instead, people often meet romantic partners within their pre-existing professional and social circles.
“When you reach a certain tax bracket or money, like, you’re limited by the rooms you’re around,” he said, comparing the situation doctors face to other medical professionals at work.
When asked directly if she could date a man with an ordinary job, Anthony did not hesitate.
“Yes, I could. Yes, I really could,” she said. “You can have a regular job and treat me very well and love my family, and that can be great.”
Anthony also discussed what she wants from her next relationship, emphasizing trust, family, shared interests, and someone who gets along with her son Kiyan, whom she shares with former NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
His comments come as Anthony continues to expand his television career. She recently reunited professionally with longtime friend Kim Kardashian on a new Hulu comedy girls trip Writer Tracy Oliver reflected on her previous project after the streamer’s passing, group chat.
The new series is expected to feature Anthony as a crisis manager for professional athletes whose own marriage has been hit by her husband’s scandal, forcing her to rely on her close friends.
As far as his actual dating life goes, Anthony is not interested in choosing partners based on celebrity status or bank accounts.
“For me, it’s about the vibe,” she said. “You can have it all, and we have no complaints.”
