Kevin Federline is facing money troubles now that his Britney Spears well has dried up – he’s being sued over the massive credit card tab.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, the 48-year-old former backup dancer owes City National Bank a total of at least $117,704, including credit cards, lines of credit and overdraft lines.
Federline signed the agreement with the bank in late November 2024 — just when the final child support payments arrived in the “Toxic” artist’s account.
As we previously reported, Federline initially received $40,000 a month in child support while raising her two children, Shawn Preston and Jayden James, in Hawaii.
The payment was later reduced to $20,000 after Shawn Preston turned 18 and continued until Jayden James graduated from high school.
In her memoir, “You Thought You Knew”, Federline said they were meant to maintain the pay security and standard of living the Boys experienced with Spears, which was “easily running more than $40,000 per month.”
“The money was gone almost as soon as it arrived,” he claimed in the book.
The lawsuit claims Federline was given until August 2026 to pay off its credit card debt. Meanwhile, his personal credit line was due in June 2025, while his personal overdraft line was due two months earlier, in April.
The bank isn’t just looking for the tab; He also wants Federline to waive unpaid accrued interest – 20.5% on credit cards, 7.5% on lines of credit and 18% for overdraft lines.
Federline’s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Federline and Spears met in early 2004. By July they became engaged and married in California in September.
Spears filed for divorce in November 2006, and their split was finalized in July 2007.
Federline has since Victoria moved in with the PrinceWhom he married in 2013.
