Julianne Moore and her daughter make a priceless couple.
The Oscar winner, 65, and Liv Freundlich, 24, attended Messia’s show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday, both decked out in diamonds from the jeweler.
Moore paired the butter-yellow knit maxi dress with Messika’s Midnight Sun diamond ear cuffs and the Divine Enigma Necklace, an 18-karat white gold collar sparkling with pavé diamonds. If the piece sounds familiar, Dakota Johnson wore a near twin to Sunday’s MTV VMAs.
Moore’s version featured a detachable pendant centered on a 0.80 carat oval-cut diamond, surrounded by more pavé bling, bringing the total weight to 13.20 carats.
Johnson’s pendant held a large emerald-cut stone, created by Tarik K’Dor, founder of the House of K’Dor. told Elle Australia They are estimated to be four to five carats. He estimated the value of the necklace at approximately 350,000 Australian dollars (about $244,000).
Moore was named a Messika ambassador in March and is leading its Modernist campaign. Her stylist, Kate Young, also dresses Johnson. At Thursday’s show, the Oscar winner sat front row with Carla Bruni, Ester Exposito, Miriam Lyons, Kiko Mizuhara and Kim Yoo-jung.
Freundlich chose this Uno Diamond Choker Necklace in Yellow Gold ($6,770) over a black Skims Minidress ($168). She also attended the Loewe show on Friday.
The Northwestern University graduate is no stranger to the fashion circuit, having been attending shows with her mother since her childhood. She sat front row at Reed Krakoff’s New York Fashion Week show in 2013 and later accompanied Moore to Ralph Lauren and Bottega Veneta.
Freundlich also modeled in a J.Crew presentation in 2017. Five years later, Moore shares the beauty lessons she gave her daughter.
“Don’t destroy your eyebrows like I did, and countless other women I know,” she told Harper’s Bazaar at the time.
“Liv has an appreciation for makeup and fashion,” Moore said. “She doesn’t overdo it.”
