Talk about a wedding guest experience that sounds like something straight out of a psychological thriller!
jenny mccarthy Spilling some seriously disturbing tea Tom Cruise, katie holmesand her 2006 marriage, claiming that the Hollywood superstar once tried to recruit her into scientology. And according to Jenny, one specific encounter involved the then-newborn Suri Absolutely terrified him!

During Thursday’s new episode jenny mccarthy wahlberg showThe masked singer Judge talks to former Scientologist Anne Goulart Hill About her alleged experiences with the controversial religion. During the pod, Jenny recalled attending Cruise and Holmes’ rehearsal dinner while they were dating jim carrey: :
“I went to the rehearsal dinner and because I was with Jim, I was literally sitting across from Tom and Katie… She had just had a baby and we were having dinner and, all of a sudden, I saw the nanny bring the baby out [Suri] At Katie’s.”
So far, so normal, right?
Wrong! When Jenny asked if she could hold the couple’s little girl, she claims the atmosphere turned downright scary:
“it looked like rosemary’s baby. I got the Scientology look.
Ummm, what?!
Imagine asking for a hug from a cute baby and suddenly feeling like everyone in the room is silently assessing your every move!
Jenny described the strange moment, saying:
“Katie slowly passed the baby and I just said, ‘Hi baby’ because no one was saying anything anymore. And then once I gave her the baby back, it seemed like everyone went back to their conversations. I thought to myself, ‘Okay, I’m in the belly of the beast right now’… I’ve never been so scared in my life.”
Oh! This is definitely not the warm, fuzzy wedding memory anyone would hope to take home!
But wait, there’s more! Jenny also remembered the meeting david miscavigeleader of Church of ScientologyCruz then introduced him as his best man. And apparently, she wasn’t afraid to joke:
“I say, ‘Haha you got selected, congratulations’, which made it seem insulting. She didn’t like it and I loved every second of it. …Tom [laughed]Trying to hide the uncomfortable moment.
Jenny also recalled Miscavige’s 30-minute speech during the wedding ceremony, saying:
“I was watching Katie’s face, like she was trying to smile and get over it.”
The actress and Carrey reportedly spent time with Cruise and Holmes after they tied the knot at an Italian castle in November 2006. Jenny claims that during the time she also met privately with Holmes, she felt that he was becoming more isolated as the marriage progressed:
“They’d come to our house and I’d pull her aside and say, ‘You doing good, girl? Do you need any help?’ …and at that time she looked like a deer in the headlights. During the wedding portion, she still looked like Katie. At the wedding, she looked like this [there was a] Change it.”
Holmes filed for divorce in 2012 after five years of marriage. Cruz was previously married nicole kidmanwith whom he has two children, and Mimi Rogers.

And Scientology recruiting claims aren’t limited to Jenny! He Too alleged that Carrey told her that Cruz had repeatedly tried to get Him Also included in religion:
“Many times Tom would call Jim and say, ‘Hey, why don’t you guys come over to our Aspen house.’ Jim said, ‘We can’t go. They are just going to try to woo us. ‘They’ve tried with her before and she’s rejected them, but they’re always trying,’ he says.
Wow…!
