Currently, there is a filter running on TikTok, where people are using AI to find their celebrity parents. And, I’m not lying when I say, it’s making me a little nervous. It’s so accurate I’m wondering if half of my For You page is actually about big celebs.
The video usually features someone showing their photo and captioning it: “AI picks my celebrity parents”. The filter then fades on the screen, and their celebrity mom and dad appear next to them, now also in the photo. Sometimes the AI will go a little further, and if it’s a full-body shot, you might find A-list celebs hugging their candid baby.
The results are very good. The people look exactly like the filters have selected, and the videos are getting millions of views. So, here’s how to do it and get results for yourself.

How to get the Viral AI Celebrity Parents Filter:
First, you need to download CapCut, and prepare a photo. Then, open the CapCut app and search for the “Celebrity Parent” template. You can then upload your photo and the app will create the video for you.
Alternatively, and perhaps a faster way, you can click on a TikTok video that already uses this feature. On the video you should see a button that says “Try this template”. If you click on it, it will take you directly to CapCut and Filters. You’ll need to download CapCut beforehand, and log into it on your phone.

From there, you should be able to see your alarmingly accurate AI parent. Then, go to TikTok and create a post. There, you can upload the video created in CapCut.
