maurice benard has officially welcomed a new member of the family. on 16th October general Hospital Star’s daughter, Cassidy Benard, married her current husbandAnthony Cammarata, with Benard, officiating the ceremony.
Benard shared an inside look at her daughter’s wedding, including the moment Cassidy walked down the aisle and said “I do.” The Daytime Emmy winner was an extremely proud father as he stood at the altar and witnessed the emotional moment.
“My baby got married to her Prince Charming. My speech may not have been perfect, but it was from the heart,” Benard captioned her Instagram video, set to “The Book of Love.” peter gabriel. “It really was a beautiful day. There’s nothing I would have done differently. You can always feel the love in the room at weddings. I’ve been to many, the heart doesn’t lie. They’ve definitely found their soulmate and in this life it means the world.”

After that, Benard officially declared the newlyweds husband and wife. The couple shared a romantic kiss at the altar. Cassidy looked gorgeous in her wedding gown, complete with tiara and veil. Anthony wore a green suit. Benard’s wife, Paula, and the flower girls wore purple dresses for the ceremony.
