Selfridge also confirmed the breakup by sharing a separate statement via her Instagram Story.

In her latest Instagram Stories, Wharton addressed her ex-husband’s post, claiming that “it’s not malicious” between the two.
He said, “This was not an ugly breakup. If one party wants to make it look like it was this or that, that’s fine.” “It wasn’t like that. It was a very mutual thing. ‘Okay, it’s time to part ways. This isn’t working for us. We’ve struggled for two years to make this thing work.'”
Wharton continued, “I wish nothing but the best for Taylor. … Now is the time to heal. Time to move on. There’s no reason to keep this thing hanging around. Now is the time.”
