Norwegian blogger Kjetil Krogstad, known for his dance videos, has recorded an unusual message of support for Ukraine. They danced to Jerry Heil’s music near the Norwegian-Russian border and dedicated the video to the Ukrainians. The singer has already responded.
RBC-Ukraine, citing a post by the blogger Instagram The page, tells what the Norwegian wrote and how the singer reacted.
How a Norwegian blogger commented on his gesture
Krogstad posted footage of himself dancing energetically to the song Jerry Heil against the backdrop of the border area between Norway and Russia. He chose this symbolic gesture to show his support for Ukraine.
“Russia told the world to leave Kiev. “We stayed,” said the Norwegian ambassador and others. “Even if the bombs fell. They stayed. We dance. We turned up the volume. 12 points from the Norway-Russia border to Ukraine. You are not alone!” The blogger wrote.
The reference to 12 points points to the Eurovision Song Contest scoring system, where the highest score traditionally represents the strongest support for a contestant. In this way, Krogstad sent a symbolic message of solidarity to Ukrainians.
How did Jerry Heel react to the video?
Singer Jerry Heil took note of the post and thanked Norwegians for their support.
He wrote, “You are literally not dancing on the edge of civilization. Thank you again and again.”

Blogger’s support for Ukraine in the past
Notably, this is not the first time that Kjetil Krogstad has publicly supported Ukraine through his creative works.
In particular, in 2025, the Norwegian blogger filmed a dance video with the artists of the Grand Kiev Ballet to Jerry Heil’s song “12 Points”. He said the video received nearly two million views, many of which were Ukrainians.
Krogstad also said she received messages of gratitude, with people writing that the video helped them cope emotionally during a difficult time.
