The Internet has found its latest obsession in Tame Impala’s “Dracula” remix with Blackpink’s Jennie — and it’s taking on a life of its own, evolving into a full-blown TikTok trend.
The remix was released in February and has since gone completely viral. It has more than 545,000 video soundtracks on TikTok alone.
Bryan Cranston, the Pussycat Dolls, Lisa Rinna, Laufey, Eric Winter and other celebrities have jumped on the trend. Even Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Jenny themselves got in on the action. Check out some of the best takes below.
Fans had been speculating about a Tame Impala and Jenny collaboration for several days before the release of “Dracula”. Clues includes a subtle edit to the original music video description on YouTube, where a line is being read beforehand. “My friends are saying ‘Shut up Kevin, just get in the car'” Parker’s name was changed to Jenny.
Jennie performed “Dracula” live for the first time at the Complex Live music festival in Hong Kong last month. The Blackpink singer took the stage at the Asiaworld-expo for a 10-song solo set, which also focused on tracks from her album. Ruby.
Released in September 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album, deadbeat“Dracula” quickly became one of the band’s standout tracks. The disco-tinged, electropop single not only marked Tame Impala’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100, but also earned a high spot on Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 2025, coming in at number three.
tame impala will take deadbeat On tour across Australia in October, beginning in Brisbane. They will be supported by ARIA-winning electronic artist and producer Ninajirachi at all shows.
