Ben Affleck reacts to his viral Dunkin’ and cigarette memes: ‘I don’t like that s—-t’

Ben Affleck, while poking fun at the viral memes that inspired him while downing a stack of Dunkin’ Takeout or pulling a drag from a cigarette, acknowledged that everyone had “those days” but lamented that his virality risks derailing his actual career: “I don’t even like that.”

hospitably on tuesday Emmy-nominated “Subwetex,” Host Kareem Rahma quizzed the Oscar-winning filmmaker about a series of paparazzi shots that showed the actor quietly chain-smoking and walking on the sidewalks with Dunkin’ in the air.

“I don’t like that your photos sometimes overshadow your work,” Rahma teased on the web series that is known for producing hot takes on the New York subway.

“I don’t like that thing either, brother!” Affleck exclaimed. “You and I are united in this. I feel really close to you now.”

Rahma later enthused, “So many great f–kin’ movies, and we’re looking at memes.”

“And we’re looking at f–kin memes!” Affleck echoed. “Oh my God, where have you been all my life?”

This wasn’t the only time Rahma had expressed several times before that the actor-director was her dream guest on the series, and Affleck shared their affection for each other. The host said there’s something about Affleck’s memory that offers kinship to other men who see themselves in need of desperate looks, daily chores, coffee.

Affleck reflected, “I actually don’t mind these memes because I think there’s something to be said, like the character of a man in crisis.” “The guy who’s like, if you have a day like that – I don’t mind. We all have those days, and a lot of them.

The actor continued, “And I don’t know if my resting face is just a flushed face or whatever, but I think it could be worse.”

“Well, whenever I see a picture I say, ‘That’s really me,'” agreed Rahma.

“You recognize it. You know, like, this guy, he feels me. He understands what it is,” Affleck continued. “You know, life, going through life is heavy at times… something goes wrong… and you have to move on.”

Rahma then said that Affleck, in this sense, “is an inspiration to all men.”

Affleck responded, “I love this show. It’s my favorite f–king show I’ve ever been on in my life.” “Where have you been all my life?”

Affleck has recently been busy promoting his new Netflix feature, “Animal,” Which he directed, co-wrote and acted in. Rahma has been saying since the beginning of his web series that he wants to cast Affleck, so much so that he even asked his longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon to put in a good word for him last year.

Rahma made history earlier this year when “Subwaytex” became the first creator-led show backed by YouTube to earn an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series.

“For me, [this nomination] It’s simply a reflection of the work that so many producers are putting into their programming these days,” he said told TheWrap at the time. “These productions are massive, difficult, and expensive, and they really reflect the same experiences that people working in television have. It also shows to me that the Academy is recognizing the work and quality that goes into these shows. As the industry morphs, merges and interconnects year after year, it’s great to see that the Academy is starting to think about how people working in television can move forward into different types of jobs.” Can meet.”
