It’s fair to say that from his first days in Hollywood, Ben Affleck had his fair share of haters. For whatever reason, some people love to dislike the multi-Oscar winning producer, writer, director and actor. I am not one of those haters. I’ve been a fan of Affleck ever since I saw his movies dazed and Confused And Mallrats Repeated it again in college in the 90s. One of the things I love about him is that he’s definitely self-aware and always a little bit self-deprecating – two qualities I really admire. He displayed both of these qualities during his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Meyers mentions Affleck winning Celebrity Edition in interview who wants to be a MillionaireThe grand prize was donated to the Eastern Congo Initiative, Affleck’s charity in DR Congo. Affleck immediately credited his partner 31 times In danger! Champion Jamie Ding, one of the greatest winners In danger! History. Affleck told Meyers that he was hesitant to play at first until he was told who he would be partnered with. As Affleck explained when the pitch was made to him:

‘What, you want me to make a fool of myself?’ He says, ‘I’ll put you with the smartest man in the world.’ ‘Sounds like a plan,’ I say.
