The internet is also largely in favor of Anna, people say that seven years is a very long time. Maybe it would have been one thing if he had to leave after a year or two, but seven years is longer than most series these days. Probably not as long as Chuck is used to making them (two and a Half Men, big bang theoryetc), but there’s still plenty of time!

actor george page Left a comment:

“Not sure if you’ll ever see it or not, but just know that every time we worked, you were always professional and friendly to be with. I remember Chuck getting angry over something we worked on and I thought it was directed at me and you saw me in the bleachers at the back of the crowd. You came to me and told me it wasn’t about me, and that Chuck makes the final decisions and he didn’t feel it was directed toward me. The director of that episode asked me to do it, and obviously, you gave me back the confidence that I lacked at that time, and I’m always amazed to see you working together on every scene.

And other answers were also helpful, including:

“I love Mom so much. My brother has been an alcoholic almost his whole life and it’s been exhausting and devastating. I watched that show and felt all the emotions from all perspectives. You did justice to this role with Allison Janney and all the other lovely women. It’s such a shame that Chuck decided to speak out about himself. But don’t let that discourage you. You’ve played that role for a reason period.”

“I only watched Mom because of you! And you were so good at it! We all know how good you are”

“They should be singing your praises! If you weren’t in it I would never know it existed! A lot of things you don’t get the credit you deserve! Everything you’re in wouldn’t be anywhere near as big as it would be if you weren’t in it!”
