USA TODAY posted a video interview with the owner of Art of Play, another development in the bizarre story that unfolded this weekend. For those unaware, Kelly Clarkson visited this store in Brooklyn on Saturday and later tweeted that the employee looked at her like she couldn’t buy it and offered to show her something else. That said, if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, check out Art of Play. The store clapped back, saying the bird was not for sale and used Kelly’s songs. Kelly responded with a photo of the price tag (installed on the wall next to the bird), and provided more information, in which the seller gave her an “elevator eye” look and said in a condescending tone, yes it is for sale but it costs $15K. The store clapped back with the clarification (backpedal), that yes, they told Kelly she could buy Molly’s “twin” for $15K or a different toy for $2K. He was quite sarcastic about it.
