Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski are separating after nine years of marriage.
He confirmed this news a statement to the people Tuesday
They shared, “We’ve been separated for a while, and it’s turned out to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve found each other forever — and that’s good.”

Shortly before news of their split broke, Seyfried, 40, shared a photo of Sadoski, 50, on her Instagram Stories posing with their bearded dragon, Romeo.
“@thomassadoski is #reptiledad,” she captioned the image.
Seyfried also posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram Stories that read: “There’s really no hard thing until you decide it’s a hard thing. Otherwise, it’s just the next thing you figure out.”
Sadoski revealed on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in March 2017 that she and Seyfried had eloped.
“We left for the country with one officer and just the two of us and did our job,” he said.
He added, “Listen, he’s the person I love, admire, respect most in the world.”
The pair first met in 2015, when they starred together in the off-Broadway play “The Way We Get By.” He also co-starred in the 2017 film “The Last Word”.
In November 2025, “Mamma Mia!” The star admitted that it was “really hard” to balance parenting her two children — daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas, 5 — with her acting career.
“This is the biggest time I’ve ever had working with two kids and I’ve never watched two movies at the same time,” she told Us Weekly, referring to her 2025 films “The Housemaid” and “The Testament of Ann Lee.”
She added, “And so, I’m a little bit of a banana right now.”
In January, she admitted the ‘John Wick’ star ‘sacrifices a lot’ for her In an interview with Vogue.
“He also knows that, right now, the opportunities I’m being given are crazy,” she said of the roles she’s being offered.
“I say no very often,” she said.
Seyfried is Sadoski’s second wife. He was previously married to casting director Kimberly Hope, but they separated in October 2015 after eight years of marriage. Sadoski is Seyfried’s first husband.
