Nell Mescal and her girlfriend Madison Cawley made their red carpet debut in London on Wednesday and the pair were seen in black dresses.
The pair, who confirmed their relationship on social media in July, looked loved up as they gazed into each other’s eyes at The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping UK fan screening event in London.
Nell, who is Paul Mescal’s sister, shared a sweet photo of the pair posing together. The singer wore a sleek, black, satin maxi dress, while her impressive partner opted for a smart black suit.
The women watch the upcoming sixth Hunger Games film, which is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2026.
The film serves as both a sequel to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (2023) and a prequel to the original trilogy.
It’s safe to say that Nell was impressed with the film and shared a photo of herself looking shocked. ‘Just watched the sunrise at Reaping, no one spoke to me,’ wrote the Kildare woman.
This appearance comes after the duo achieved a major milestone in September. While the Maynooth native made the move to the English capital in 2021, Madison ultimately relocated to be closer to her love.
The couple had long expressed how much they hated long distance, which was the subject of Nell’s most recent song, Settles.
Now, Nell and Madison won’t have to worry about ‘getting a red eye’ by flying from Dublin to London to see each other, and can strut their stuff at events.
Two months after confirming their relationship, Nel publicly came out as gay in an interview with Gay Times, revealing that she had come out to her family around Christmas 2025.
It appears that women are as loved as ever. There’s likely to be a sixth member of the Mezcals at the dinner table at Christmas time!
