Versant Expands Fast Channels Suite with 4 New Selections

Versant is best known for its cable channels that provide the bulk of its revenue, but the company continues to create new-media extensions.

Owner of MS Now, CNBC and USA, CNBC, Oxygen and E! are launching four new free ad-supported streaming networks based on programming franchises. When these new options launch, Versant will have a portfolio of 13 FAST outlets.

The new quarter includes Snapped, a program that chronicles the life of a woman accused of murder and which began airing on Oxygen in 2004; Fail, a selection from E! which examines the ups and downs of plastic surgery; Oxygen’s Murders of America, a true-crime documentary series; and CNBC Ambition, which features stories of entrepreneurship, innovation, wealth creation and success and draws on a series of primetime series that previously aired on the business-news cable outlet.

All four new channels will be available on Prime Video in the US starting October 27, with a gradual launch on The Roku Channel starting November 3. Versant said it expects to launch Fast Channel with additional platforms in the coming months.

“Growing our digital platform and reaching new audiences is central to Versant’s strategy,” Dave Pietricha, Versant’s chief revenue and business officer, said in a statement. “Bringing more of our programming to Prime Video and The Roku Channel expands the reach of our iconic brands and gives viewers more ways to find valuable content wherever they watch.”

Versant is working to diversify its operations and revenue streams, in many cases by developing direct-to-consumer services tied to its core cable networks, and in others by acquiring businesses that can enhance current operations. Versant’s Fast Portfolio started with six channels. The company added three more networks with the acquisition of Free TV Network in January 2026. Prime Video and The Roku Channel already offer Pam Grier’s Soul Flicks, American Crimes, Oxygen’s True Crime Archives, E! Keeping Up, Bad Girls Club, GolfPass, and Prime Video also offer 365BLK and Outlaw.
