After watching King Kenny get recruited by traitors on Thursday – that episode ended with his deliciously evil laugh – the YouTuber and former aspiring boxer brought a fresh and fiendish energy to the Turret.
“This threesome is about to fall apart,” predicted Mama Traitor Maya Jama. “There’s a new vibrancy.”
His reluctant fellow traitor, James Acaster, was also pleased with his choice of ally.
“As predicted, Kenny has taken to it like a duck to water,” the comedian said, clearly relieved. “He’s the opposite of me. Very carefree. He’s a born traitor.”
Kenny is enjoying the role, barely able to hide his joy as Miranda Hart tells him during breakfast that “you are my main loyalist”.
The self-proclaimed modern Miss Marple warns Kenny to keep an eye out for anyone who behaves differently, arguing that “if you’re suddenly a traitor, you’ll be a little alarmed”.
“I agree,” was his simple reply.
In the show’s diary room he said: “The first taste of being on the other side – it feels good, because you have the power.
“I’m good at staying calm because as a boxer you have to have a poker face. You can’t tell other people that you’re scared.”
However, he later admitted: “On the outside I look calm, collected, but on the inside I’m incredibly nervous.”
