“Raising Dion” isn’t one of Netflix’s biggest hits because of its compelling blend of superhero action and relatable family dynamics. It’s all driven by its charismatic star, 10-year-old Ja’Sia Young. POPSUGAR’s Jada Gomez got a chance to talk to the young actor, who plays Michael B. Jordan was very excited to share his thoughts on everything from (anime-based) acting advice to his deep knowledge of the Spider-Man cinematic universe.
Young also revealed some of her favorite things (including the eternal cats vs. dogs debate) and even took part in a quiz covering pop culture from the time of her birth. Does knowing that the acronym “YOLO” became popular 10 years ago make you shudder a little?
