For hardcore’s pleasure snl Fans and comedy lovers everywhere, we found a snl And snl uk Crossover last night. During the cold opener, James Austin Johnson was brought in to do his stellar impression of President Donald Trump, and not surprisingly, he crushed it on the other side of the pond, too. Johnson enhanced his trademark catchphrases with lots of references to the UK and asked cast members to share scenes with him and tried to avoid laughing as he attacked them for not having anyone in the cast who could play the President.
The video of Austin’s appearance has already been viewed more than one million times youtubewhich is a huge number for the first day snl uk clip. The dozens of comments I saw were all extremely positive and there was an even split between fans praising the comedian’s impression and fans hyping the fact that we finally got a collaboration. I completely agree with both and now my mind is running a mile a minute thinking of all the collaborations I’d like to see. Specifically, it’s a collaboration I’d like to see.
Before I get to where I hope it will be, you can watch the full video of Johnson’s notion below…
Apparently there’s a whole host of loved ones snl There are characters I’d love to see on the UK version, as well as some outrageous British quirks I’d love to see on the flagship version, but to me, there’s a very clear collaboration we need and it would make a lot of sense. we desperately need it weekend update Change.
something random snl uk The sketches have gone viral and there’s a lot of positivity surrounding the artists, but I think the thing that’s most talked about is the constant snl ukAt least from our perspective in the United States, the spinoff has been the subject of weekend update. Co-anchors Paddy Young and Ania Magliano have developed really good chemistry and read fake news without throwing a single punch. After every episode, at least one or two of his jokes are widely shared on social media.
It would be fun to expose Young and Magliano to a wider audience in the United States, and it would be fun to expose Michael Che and Colin Jost. snl uk As a pleasant surprise for the fans. Of course, he’s been hosting the American version for over a decade and it’s widely considered to be one of the best shows ever. Just as the live audience lost their minds watching James Austin Johnson’s Trump, I have to imagine they’ll be just as excited to see Jost and Che.
However, beyond mere novelty, it would be nice to see both pairs step out of their comfort zones and work on jokes for a new audience. I’m sure Che and Jost will have a field day coming up with some wild UK-based segments and conversation topics, and it’ll be fun for everyone to see Young and Magliano come up with some jokes that will seem more edgy and offensive than what American audiences typically get to see.
I don’t know if James Austin Johnson’s guest appearance is a sign that we’re going to be getting a lot more crossovers or whether this will turn out to be a one-time entertainment. we have got snl The stars were on board as hosts at first, but this felt like a more direct shared universe situation. Personally, I’d like to see this kind of thing happen more often, and if we’re going to get there, I really need to see it weekend update Change.
