Bahrain GP 2026 livestream: how to watch F1 for free

TL;DR: This weekend’s Bahrain GP in Malaysia is free to viewers on F1’s exclusive US home Apple TV – no subscription required.

Everything about the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 was fantastic. We had electric racing, dramatic events and nail-biting races to the checkered flag. Can the Bahrain GP compete with it in Malaysia? we believe.

George Russell’s victory last weekend has closed the gap on leader Kimi Antonelli, but the young Italian still looks favorite to reach the top. Lando Norris was the man to beat last race weekend, but he suffered a dangerous DNF at the end. There’s plenty of time for things to change and it starts at the Sepang International Circuit.

If you want to watch F1 2026 for free from anywhere in the world, we have all the information you need.

How to watch Bahrain GP for free

This is the stage where we would normally suggest using free trials to access F1 race weekends, but this time it’s not necessary. Instead, fans can watch every session live on Apple TV – including practice, qualifying and Sunday’s Grand Prix – without the need for a subscription.

This isn’t the first time Apple TV has made an entire F1 race weekend available to live stream for free to viewers in the US, with live coverage of the Bahrain GP in Malaysia running from October 2-4. All you have to do is go to Apple TV and tune in. It’s that simple.

We don’t know why Apple TV chose this race weekend, but we won’t ask too many questions. We’ll sit back all weekend with live action from the Sepang International Circuit.
