Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer remain very close despite breaking up 10 years ago.

The former couple announced their separation in 2016, yet their divorce was finalized just a few weeks ago.

But did you know what happens when a couple – famous or not – says they’ll always be friends with their ex? This couldn’t be more true in the case of Maguire and Meyer.

Ohana means family

The mayor remarried to billionaire heiress Adebayo Ogunlesi on Saturday – and it was Maguire who officiated the ceremony, TMZ reported.

According to the outlet, Mayer and Ogunlesi exchanged “I dos” at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, where the guest list included A-list stars including Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Vittoria Ceretti, Rachel Zoe, Jeff Bezos, and Lauren Sanchez Bezos.

When did Meyer and Ogunlesi start dating?

The newlyweds also welcomed their daughter earlier this year. Mayer also has two children – daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and son Otis Tobias, 17 – with Maguire.

In August 2024, Mayer announced their engagement on Instagram with the sweet, simple caption, “Yes!!!” Which contained a photo of him and Ogunlesi embracing and celebrating.

Mayer and Ogunlesi, founder and CEO of entertainment and music management company, The Ogunlesi Group, were first linked in the summer of 2023, before they made their red-carpet debut at the annual Baby2Baby Gala later that year.
