While you’re getting ready to watch your favorite horror movie, this month is about much more than just candy and costumes. This month is all about the color pink for one actor, and no, it’s not Reese Witherspoon. Fans have even more to celebrate this Halloween season, thanks to long awaited practical magic sequel. While Nicole Kidman is pretty in pink light, it’s not to promote her return as Gillian Owens, it’s to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The actor is in Paris in honor of Fashion Week, and in her latest Instagram post, she looks absolutely stunning in pink. During his stay at the five-star luxury hotel The Peninsula Paris, he took the opportunity to promote the importance of October outside Midnight Margarita and Chants. The post is simply captioned, “Pink lights in honor of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth,” and it really says it all:

Even the centerpiece of the lobby, a permanent base called “Dancing Leaves”, is sporting pink roses as a floral call to awareness. This display was designed by Ludek Hrocch for the renowned glass manufacturer LASVIT and is an important feature of the Peninsula Paris. It’s the perfect setting for Kidman to raise awareness, and her post is inspiring fans to grab an umbrella and jump in:

Kidman certainly looks at home in the hotel, and it makes sense given her long history of promoting breast cancer awareness. She is an enthusiastic participant in awareness campaigns and is a long-time supporter of (and often donates to) research programs. The actor frequently collaborates with Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center on awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and public service announcements on the importance of early detection and personalized treatment. Her dedication stems from a personal place as her mother was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer when she was a teenager and she took time off to care for her during treatment. In 2004 too he faced a minor scare.
