ben affleck Feeling really happy these days!
This is the conclusion of his new interview DiversityIn which he talks about business, his ex-wives and more.
On the subject of social media and its rise as a necessity in the film industry, Ben admits that influencing, when done right, is an honest day’s work. Referring to both his former wives, jennifer garner And Jennifer LopezHe says:
“Now you’ve got your social media identity. You work to develop it. I’ve seen both Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner do amazing work developing and earning value in those places. Don’t think it’s not real work. I couldn’t do it. What am I going to do, unbox something?”
Ha! Not gonna lie, we’re sure a lot of people would really love to see Ben unbox something. Him picking up packages from his front porch was already extremely memorable, so can you imagine how happy people would feel to see him unboxing random PR boxes? Very good, very good!

And, hey, maybe Jennifer Garner can help! Eventually, he says he wants to work with her more. When Trad talks about his upcoming film AnimalThey mention how it was originally supposed to star Jane and Matt Damon. But then Matt had to bail and Ben came in. However, when he did this, he didn’t think it was a good idea to have Jane play his imaginary wife after having an IRL partner.
“In a movie, illusion is the thing.”
But does that mean it’s a closed door forever, being on film again with your ex Daring Co-star? No! He admits that while playing a married couple would be too obvious, there are other options:
“I still want to do something with him.”
Yes, we’re sure a lot of manufacturers still want it. Nothing draws an audience like IRL intrigue.

And speaking of… what about J.Lo? Is there any hope for an on-screen reunion?
When asked why he thought Lopez was overlooked oscar for his work in HustlersHe sings his praises:
“I’m biased. I have a lot of respect and admiration for what she can do.”
So what does it give? Why didn’t he get the nomination? Ben thinks:
“What I’ve found with awards is that sometimes the degree of commercial success for things doesn’t always correlate to my taste. It’s part of this weird, subjective business in which people bring a lot of their own baggage. I don’t always think the right person won the right award. But guess what? I don’t think you die and go to heaven, and God says, ‘This was the actual best picture in 1986.’ At the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of people voting on film awards.”
A very level-headed way of thinking in a volatile industry!
After all, J.Lo may not have an Oscar, but she will be remembered by far more fans, and for a longer time, than anyone else. You can’t deny that her career goes beyond trophies!
And from the sound of this interview, his relationship with both of his ex-girlfriends is clearly beyond any breakup. They may not be romantically involved anymore, but there’s still a lot of love between them. Oh!
