Simu opened up about his and Allison’s relationship in 2023, admitting that he felt relieved after meeting her.
He told People: “I think everyone knows the feeling of being in a situation where they’re not entirely happy, and then suddenly that changes… it’s a sigh of relief.
“It’s this feeling of, ‘Oh, okay, it exists.’ You start to feel like, okay, maybe I’m conditioned to want something that doesn’t exist or I have unrealistic expectations.”
The star also revealed that he would love to have kids with Allison one day.
He said, “I definitely see children in my future. I would be surprised if I wasn’t a father ten years from now.”
“I think you just get to that point in your life where it starts happening around you and all your best friends who you grew up with just shooting up and being delinquent kids suddenly catapulted into a position of responsibility and parenthood. You’re looking at these people and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I never thought you’d ever be responsible for another human life.’ “
